Lady Rosalind Nzinga Nichol a devoted student of life in
the WORD. Born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, she
soon learned the power of God’s grace when He delivered her from a life filled with drugs, abuse and two

now living proof that with God, “all things are
possible” as she holds a bachelor’s degree in Art from
California State University, Long Beach, and two master
degrees, one in Divinity and the other in Christian
Education/Curricula

high honors.

artist, Lady Nichol moved to California in 1975 where she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior
at Friendship Baptist Church under Reverend James D.
Carrington. Eventually settling at Crenshaw Christian
Center under the leadership of Pastor Frederick K. C.
Price. Over the next few years she worked
with numerous ministries as God prepared her for her
calling along side her future husband, Apostle Nichol.

Hungry for four years, while ministering to the
disenfranchised men and women in downtown Los Angeles.

five-fold ministry and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma for
training at Oral Roberts University. In Tulsa she served
as a chaplain at Brookhaven Rehabilitation Center, and
as an associate minister and Co-Chair of Christian
Education for the historic Mt. Zion
Baptist Church.
While living
in Tulsa, she traveled on missions to Ghana, West
Africa; taught art to inner city children in an after
school enrichment program; and worked as Artist-in-Residence for the Higher Dimensions Family Church.
There, completing an extensive 3-year mural project in
the church’s children wing.
Her ministry and art
being profoundly impacted by her international missions
trip to Ghana.
Upon moving to New Jersey, Lady Nichol served as a
chaplain for Robert Woods Johnson Medical Center and the
Saint Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center. In
both positions she was able to use her art as a means to
help people through art therapy and bereavement
workshops.
In June 2000 Lady Nichol married
Apostle Ralph G.
Shammah Nichol, pastor of DEC Ministries, and inherited
a large and growing family.
She is the proud
