Jesus is Waiting
Q: How Can I Get Saved?
A: A Christian is a person who has verbally, by faith,
confessed Jesus Christ as his or her personal Savior and
Lord, and believes that Jesus physically came to this
world, physically died at Calvary, physically rose from
the dead after three days, and physically ascended to
Heaven and now sits at the right hand of Father God.
Salvation is easy. The Bible says if you believe with
your heart and confess with your mouth you shall be
saved. To be saved you can simply say something like
this: "Dear God, I confess that I am a sinner. I am
sorry for my sin and ask you for your mercy and
forgiveness through the blood of your Son, Jesus. I
believe He died for me and rose again, I now accept Him
as my as my personal Savior. Jesus thank you for coming
into my heart. "If you have prayed this prayer today,
please contact us. We would like to rejoice with you.
You will also find that the following scriptures will be
helpful: Ephesians 2:8-9, Luke 1:37, Mark 11:23-24.
Q: How Do I know I ‘m saved when I don’t feel saved?
A: You can know you are a child of God TODAY! When you
accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, you are
redeemed. You are not in the process of being redeemed.
You ARE redeemed - NOW. As is stated above your
salvation is based on what you believe in your heart and
the confession you just made.
Q: How do I stay saved and grow as a Christian?
A: By developing your personal relationship with the
Lord through spending time in prayer, praise and
worship, and the reading of His Word on a consistent
basis. God longs to fellowship with you. And like a good
father, He wants you to come directly to Him with all
your needs. This is why He tells us to go boldly to His
throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace to help
in time of need (Hebrews 4:16). |
